The creation of the New York Horse Park will:

bring enormous direct and indirect economic impact to the region, measuring in the millions of dollars. This fact is supported by recent studies done by the American Horse Council, Economic Research Associates, the NY Agricultural Statistics Service and KPMG;

create a permanent open space with numerous recreational options for spectators, participants, Saratoga County residents and out-of-town visitors;

provide facilities for a growing aspect of our local agricultural industry and provide an enhanced market for numerous support services including farming;

provide facilities for activities that serve the community as well as attracting visitors from outside the area and state;

establish an equestrian venue of world class scope and quality; and

preserve and conserve open land in an increasingly urban region.
